More than 200 people tasted approximately 12 different restaurant soups, dished up by celebrity servers, participated in a super silent auction and took home a wonderful hand painted ceramic soup bowl at Inter Parish Ministry’s(IPM), Fifth Annual Soup Bowl Celebration on April 26 at the RSVP in Loveland.
The event began with a wonderful serenade by the Melodic Minors trio. Each participant was served soup from celebrity servers including Former Bengal’s Player Anthony Mun?oz, DeDe Mun?oz, Channel 12’s Kit Andrews and Cincinnati Ballet Principal Artist Kristi Kapps.
Kit Andrews then emceed the event and told heart warming stories of Inter Parish Ministry Clients Amy and Audrey. IPM Executive Director Lindsey Ein then emphasized how our current economic times has created an increase in the number of people visiting the CHOICE PANTRY.
A lively end to the silent auction followed along with a dramatic raffle drawing for a Cincinnati Night on the Town and diamond bracelet.
Approximately $6,500 was raised by IPM at the event. Proceeds will directly support IPM’s CHOICE Pantry and programs.
IPM thanks the many attendees, sponsors, partners, auction donors, soup bowl painters, volunteers and other supporters that helped make this annual event a successes.
